Valued Customer!

On May 25th, the new European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) goes into effect. New regulations protect the fundamental rights to privacy, data control, and transparency for European citizens. Superb Internet joined the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework and the Swiss-U.S Privacy Shield in 2016 and although the way we use your information isn’t changing we wanted to remind you of our Privacy Policy.

If you’re like us, you probably don’t have a lot of time to go through it all, so we’ve included a brief summary of some of the key points;

 1)   About the Policy

Our Privacy Policy covers the ways in which we attain, manage, store, process and share information given to it by its customers and visitors to our sites.

 2)   Why and how do we use your personal data?

We only use your information where you have given us your consent, where it’s necessary to deliver the services you’ve requested, where it’s necessary to exercise or comply with legal rights or obligations, or for normal business purposes of the kind set out in our policy.

 3)   What personal data do we collect?

Everyone who uses our services will have bits and pieces of information about them collected, stored and processed. However, we do not collect more information than we need.

 4)    How long do we store your personal data?

We only keep your data for as long as we need it, or are required to for legal reasons. We treat data differently depending on what it’s used for, but you can ask us to delete your personal data at any time.

 5)   When is your information shared with or collected by third parties?

We share your information only where you ask us to, where it is a necessary part of doing business with you and providing you with the services, or where we need to for legal reasons.

6)   How do we keep your personal data secure?

Safeguarding your privacy is embedded in our culture and we use a combination of industry-standard methods to protect it.

Thank you for being a Superb Internet customer and if you have any questions about our Privacy Policy or anything else, give us a call, we’ll be happy to help!
